Well they are identified well before entering Canadian air space… the whole northern coast has radars with a range of 200 miles. I would think there are F18’s postured up north now with what is going on with Russia instead of just in Bagotville and Cold Lake.

If they go with the Sweeds, Winnipeg likely will benefit with the build. From what I read the Swedish design would be built/assembled in Canada while the F35 comes from the US. Time we stepped back a bit and did what was good for Canada as opposed to dealing solely with the US. Biden is no friend of Canada.
