Just got back from the executive planning meeting for this.
Date has been set for 15 July 06 on Range 1
1. Over .24 Cal - Open sights (Legal hunting calibre - Alberta)
2. Over .24 Cal - Scoped (Legal hunting calibre - Alberta)
3. Under .24 Cal - Scoped (Varminter class, you know, "The Red Mist Society")
4. Under .24 Cal - Open sights.
5. Muzzleloader open category
3 x 4L milk jugs @ 100,
3 x falling plates @ 200 yrd,
3 x falling plates @ 300 yrd,
1 x 4L milk jug @ 400 yrd, &
10 rounds @ 4' x 4' target @ 500 yrd.
Max score 200 w/10x - 20 Rounds overall in 15 minutes.
Muzzleloader Max'd @ 300 yrd with a similiar but ammended format. 10 rounds in 20 Minutes. Max score 100.
Registration @ 0900 - 10:00 - with the opportunity to try your rifle @ 500 yrd PRIOR to the contest. Shoots starts @ 10am
PLease save your 4L milk jugs. We will need them!!
Did I mention that we will need some 4L milks jugs.

Door prizes, and awards.
The range we are booked on ain't rated for artillery, and besides, 500 yrd is pretty boring for a BMG or Lapua anyway.
All shots are from the prone. Sandbags and bipods okay. No Shooting sleds, portable benches, or other form of apparatus that mechanically locks your rifle into place.
Oh yeah, as per ANY match here on base, bring bug spray... 'cause DAMN!
