Hi, Just wondering if the CFC is open during the christmas/new year period ? Does anyone know ? I'm waiting for my PAL and it seems like it is taking forever......... It's only been 2 weeks so far.

If your PAL is close to expiry & you're a grandfathered "12-x er" they might conveniently process your renewal after the expiry date of your existing PAL & send you the renewed PAL minus the 12-x endorsement.

They're full of them thar tricks & might or might not include a Xmas card in the envelope. ;)

I'm pretty sure they've been closed since the 24th. I'm waiting for a transfer to be approved and called on both the 24 and today (26th) to check up and got the same message about calling during regular business hours.
 
There is a statutory 28 day waiting period. (That is the minimum. There is no maximum.)

It could take six months, or three months, or nine months, but it won't be less than 28 days.
