Does anybody had experience with cfe pistol for 9mm?
how it this? consistancy? burn clean?

Also, what is the pros ans cons versus the Titegroup?

I can have a very god deal on that powder, before buy it, I prefered asked :)
thanks!

I use Tight group and CFE in my 9 and .357.

I’ve done a bit of testing with both powders and found the CFE, makes my CZ shadow 9 mm and my S&W.357,
Just a bit more accurate.
And I find it clean.

I use CFE Pistol for all my 9mm now; 4.0g with 147g Campros works well in my Sigs - soft shooting and accurate.

OP, this is a good load but as I got closer to 4.2gr (max listed) things really started to tighten up for me. You'll have to chrono and see what works best for you.

My favourite loads with this bullet are 4.1gr of WSF and 3.8gr of WST*. WSF is dirty near the bottom but I haven't found a more accurate load when paired with a 147gr CamPro. WST is much cleaner but a tad less accurate.

*There is no official data for this combo but here's what I got:

Yes. Have loaded many 9mm rounds using both Titegroup and CFEP.

The two main differences:

1. You need more CFE compared to Titegroup to get the same results in velocity.
2. CFE will generate more felt recoil than Titegroup at the equivalent velocity.

I have found a projectile going 830fps using CFE recoils the same as the equivalent projectile going 890 fps using Titegroup.

This is obviously a problem if you are competing as a 147g projectile going 830fps will not make power factor.

The reason I keep a few around is to use at the end of practice prior to cleaning the barrel out. The inside will look like glass when I clean it after shooting CFE.

In my opinion, CFE was not designed as the ideal powder for plinking with normal 9mm rounds. It was developed as an alternative to Autocomp for people competing with open guns who need the additional gas this powder will generate, create more fouling, and have the additional case capacity of a 357sig/38 Super.

I've been wanting to try some Power Pistol in the 9mm While I was in the gun shop yesterday I had a senior moment and picked up a can of CFE Pistol, wasn't until I got home did I realize what I had done.' well! I got it half right. After reading this last post I don't know if I want to even bother trying it in the 9mm.. I have Titegroup, Autocomp and 231 on hand anyway.Maybe do a little research and see if it's any good in the .45 ACP.

I’ve used it everything,9,40,38 special,.357 mag,45acp and even .45 LC :)

I didn’t find anything overly wrong with it.

CFE Pistol is perfectly fine in 9mm. Some people frown upon using slow(er) powders for 9mm minor but I actually prefer the feel of a slow(er) powder, which is why WSF is my favourite load. You can certainly make PF with CFE Pistol, if that's what you're looking to achieve, but it will have to be loaded near the top end.

Thank you all for your comment!!!really appreciate! I think i will stay with my titegroup.
Happy. New year!!!

Obviously you can do whatever you want but you didn't even try it, lol. I heard the same horse poop in regards to WSF when I started using it in 9mm but as you can tell from this mornings target it works very well for me.
