CFE223 anybody using this powder?

I use it for my AR. 55gr hornady fmj loaded to mid .223 specs. Haven't really stretched it out in terms of distance but I get 1 ragged hole at 50 yards from a rest with a 1-4 scope.

My first loads with it in my 204 were not so stellar but am thinking it is more the gun.... Getting it bedded...... It does meter exceptionally through my Hornady powder dropper! I weigh every load when working it up and literally once it was set it metered to the exact 1/10 of a grain.... no extra trickling required. It'll certainly make loading a lot of rounds quicker once I have settled on a load!

Just got back from the range.Great results with 55gr. Sierra bullet and 26 grains of CFE223.Got three holes in one and two more within 3/4 inch of the rest of the group.Using the Mbus sights at 25 yards resting on a bag.Bought some Sako ammo for comparison (and want the brass)and that shot well also from my new S&W M&P15.

Ive just bought 3 pounds to try, I am looking to try and replace N133 in a 7mm and IMR 4895 in a 30 cal, any ideas where I should be looking for data?

Since WC735 dried up, CFE223 has become my go-to powder for 5.56 and lighter bullets (147/150) in the .308. Decent velocities and good accuracy so far. I have been sitting right at 27 grains and a Campro 55 grain fmj in the 5.56.

I have a 7x43 that I'm looking to feed 140 to 160 grain bullets if possible. Any starting ideas for the new powder?

I've used it in my 22/250 and 7mm/08. Does a good job with 50-55 gr bullets in my 22/250 and decent job in my 7mm/08 with 168 gr bullets. There are better powders for these calibers, but it is certainly worth a try.
