Cfsac 2011?

I don't suppose there would be a need for a local reservist to come out and help?

What unit are you in? ORA's SR matches are CFSAC qualification matches for LFCA - you need to contact your unit and there are at least two ottawa units that are participating.

33 Signals. I don't need to participate, but even just go out as general labour and see how its done and get some tips that would improve my own shooting will be great. I'll send up a memo, and who knows... maybe I'll see some of you there.

You are in an Army that has lots of rifles and ammo, you should be fighting/begging to shoot.

I am sure you can come out as a civie to help out the ORA - however I am not sure taskings will be available for GD at the actual CFSAC. Last year the reg. force got the tasking.

Come to Connaught for the next shoot (July 23/24), you may be able to find some leads there as the Ottawa units will be showing up.

I'm going to be down in kingston for the next 2 months, comming back at the begining of september, but I'll definately be keeping my eyes and ears open. I might also take you up on the offer of helping out the ORA. Thanks.

The Army should be fighting to get the troops out shooting more...

...unfortunately there is a 38 million dollar shortage in ammo this year. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Since getting on the LFWA team, ive shot more then i did in the last 5 years with the army. Its amazing what even a week on the range can do for your shooting. I agree, every unit needs to spend more time on ranges.

A little birdie has sent me a copy of the provisional course of Fire for CFSAC 2011 (rifle).

If you'd like it, drop me a note at my dnd e-mail address.

If you'd like it and have some patience, drop me a note at my civvy e-mail address.
