CFSAC Spotting scope favour/question

So I went to CFSAC and brought my spotting scope now after match 4 I went and got my scores and worked the butts for the next relay. When I returned to the 500m line my scope was gone. Now I know accidents happen and someone probably mistakenly picked it up.

So my question to all my CFSAC competitiors here, if you happen to see a Bushenell spotting scope black in color with a 15-45 power lense also has my initials on the side JL in white paint pen. Could you pplease PM me. I will pay for the shipping. No questions asked.I just want my scope back.

If it was an issued piece of kit well I would fill out a Lost stores report, but this one was my personal one that I bought a few years back.

What the heck where people eating them? I found a navy one that the capital region guys left on the line. They were happy to get it back, I really hope some one sees this and goes "Holy crap I saw that scope in our stuff" and returns it to me. Like I say no questions asked, I will even pay for shipping.

They had a lost and found set up there, i'm not sure who you would try and get in contact with but it could be there.

I did check Lost and found the day before I left I think someone accidently picked it up and won't realize that it is not their's until they go to use it again.

hey sorry to hear about your scope but i bought a new one two months ago and i still have my older spotting scope. it is nothing expencive or special but it should do the trick till you get a new one if you would like. let me know i have guys from edomonton heading to wainwright every couple of weeks. i also plan on doing a hunt out your way for some mules in middle of october.

yeah I am pretty stoked!! I was sure it was gone never to be seen again, but Dirt diver 031 came through for me. His RQ found it and DD031 and I had been talking about my scope going AWOL so when he went into work his RQ had my scope laying there. So he is going to ship it to me. I think I may have to buy that man a beer or 3 next year at CFSAC!
