Sounds like a good Idea. We would not want to let MR. RIFLECHAIR or any shooters west of ONT. think there is a remote chance they could win such a event!!!!!!

Ok..........mass email sent out to EESA members to get entries!!

This is probably a stupid question but.....
What is EESA?

COME ON WESTERN CANADA LETS SHOW THESE ONTARIO WEENIES HOW TO SHOOT.

As for Eastern Canada.....
Beware the Newfie with the venerable .303 during Moose season......

EESA- the home of Ontario's elite milsurp shooters

COME ON WESTERN CANADA LETS SHOW THESE ONTARIO WEENIES HOW TO SHOOT.

OH BOY HERE WE GO!!!

"WE HAVE NO FEAR"

As for Eastern Canada.....
Beware the Newfie with the venerable .303 during Moose season......

Do not forget the newf's also have terdy -terdy'

 Ahem

What happens if some of my 10 rounds don't even ahhhh...lets say hit the paper? Won't measuring my group become somewhat unfair? Any options for that, or am I worried about something that doesn't matter?

This sounds like a lotta fun! I only have 2 problems:
1. Which rifle do I use out of the 65 that qualify that are on my rack?
2. Due to my legs not working right, I might not fire ANY rounds, as it can take longer than that to get into pocition! Great Fun!

Carcano safeties work just fine. The only really Mickey-Mouse safety I have seen in some time is on the converted Vetterli-Vitalis, the 1870/87/1915 type, and they are rocky at best! Mannlicher-Berthiers, of course, don't have such an animal at all.

Stormbringer...
Never underestimate the stupidity of the average human being...
Especially me.

You know
Thats a darn good question

But until I get a chance to study the platform I'd prefer to keep things simple and refrain from using one.

I like to keep things simple until I know what the heck it is I'm talking about.

Cheers
and thanks for the good question

Just wondering if you're going to allow the full-wood M-10 enfield into the milsurp postal match. I think it should be included since it's eligible for service rifle matches. Just my humble opinion though.

Cheers,
Jeremy

However us Rock Dwellers can shoot just fine bud.
Muaha ha ha ha ha (maniacle laughter)

Bwhaha, rock dwellers indeed. Lets go west  (now watch my entry come out at 10") Oh well, it'll be interesting, shooting my oooold No.1 Mk3 mag cutoff not yet excluded, and I'll be shooting cast, should prove a challenge. :)

A Challenge? Maybe
Fun? FOR SURE.

Ok.........its on at EESA for Wednesday Night at 7 pm

I am bringing my M1 Garand to use.

I will also bring along my M96, M38, No1 Mk III and SKS should anyone show up needing to borrow.

We will be meeting at the 300m range which is now sporting it BRAND NEW ROOF!!

Well that was an unmitigated disaster!!

MF had a separated case head on his Enfield.

My M1 Garand started ok for the first shot....

Then the second went low.

Then lower

Then lower

Then in the dirt!!! ARGH!!

Anyone know how to fixt ( tighten) the rear sight on a Garand??

Meanwhile we still had a great time!! We are meeting out again next Thursday for some milsurp fun! Maybe this time we will print on paper. Hell I might even try to sight in a gun first!! What a concept!

Excellent
Now it is time for the west coast boys to do their thing.
I have a choice between my
1940 Erma K98k
1941 Lithgow SMLE
1943 Lithgow AAC SMLE
1950 CNo4Mk1*
1943 M91 Tula

Hmmm where will I go?

Probably the 43 Lithgow
PS This is me at BCRA not shooting this course of fire

I would not call it a disaster but a outright laugh!! Trying to get 10 rounds off in one min. and on paper with a bolt gun was challenging to say the least. Our highest score for a target came on the deliberate at a 80 we wont talk about the lowest score. And yes some of us did put them on paper Will post some pic's.
