Dusting off them decoys, wouldn't a leaf blower help things along a wee bit qwicker?

That wouldn't have worked at all... under three inches of snow was an inch of ice... we had to pound the dekes to break it loose... with close to a thousand dekes, seven guys had to hustle to get it done.

And besides, I did not have a leaf blower in my blind bag. I had just about everything else, but not one of those.

Out today with Swinginberries and his buddy..... a few flocks moving and we managed to get 7....

I took a full blue phase adult that I am going to get mounted..... good day over all....

You shouldn't have left boys, we could have used more guns!

Ahhh! I'm jealous of the blue phase goose! I was really hoping we'd get a chance at them when were were out.

Glad you had a good time. I'd definitely do another snow goose hunt down the way.

i ve got a good recipe for snow goose.

look for cassoulet and change the duck or farm goose for it and you will love it ....

I have a blue phase adult mount. I've had it for many years now. Kind of a funny (funny now) story to it. I bought a snowmobile engine from a guy 38 years ago. He had this snow goose mount stored in his garage so he asked if I wanted it. I said "sure". Well, it turns out the engine was garbage so all I got for my money was this blue goose. I used to tell people that I got "goosed" on that deal, lol. It is a nice mount though and I certainly couldn't get one done for what I paid for the engine so I guess in the end it worked out okay.

Congrats to all of you guys .... and you had a great time as well..... I too was supposed to do a goose hunt with and throu st Lawrence outfitters.... I was told by Luke at wingfeather outfitters .... but the guys I asked all bailed for various reasons .... but next year I'll go my self if I have too
