If you have read my posts about my new CH22 receiver from Tactical innovations, you know my issues.
I'm wondering, other than Wanstalls and Questar, who else sells Tactical innovation receivers?

A quick update, I e-mailed both Wanstalls and TacticalInc about my receiver. Sadly tthe quality is just like the review on youtube! Pitting on both sides and a milling circle on the top rail.
My first e-mail back from Tactical inc said they didn't know of any quality issues with this receiver, they wanted pics but they would be happy the exchange it. However I'm in Canada so I'd have to go through a dealer.
I sent them pics and what do you know, their story changed! They said they knew of the issue and have fixed the deburring material that pitted the receivers. No mention of the milling mark!
Wanstalls and Gary have been good to deal with and offered a refund.
I've messaged Questar about their receivers and will post their reply.
A third e-mail from Tactical inc said they'd exchange all effected receivers that any dealers had including mine.
I wish Wanstalls would step up and deal with this and not let it fall to their customers. I've had great dealing with Gary in the past!

Being honest, I knew there wasn't alot of positive reviews on the CH22 receiver, however if two good Canadian companies supply them, the reviews must be wrong or out of date.
Sadly again this isn't the case. A warning to all that are looking at buying the Tactical Innovations receivers, please watch the CH22 youtube vid. 2mins-3 mins in you'll see the issues!
If anyone else has a CH22 please message me, I'd like to know your thoughts!
Thanks for your time!

Do you find reloads any faster or easier with the CH22? It sounds good at first but in practice I could see it being a nuisance. Cool little action though.

I had issues with the charging handle. It wouldn't pull back unless I pushed the bolt to the left side of the receiver. Once I did, is charged like butter. Once charged, I could dump the mag without issue. However every mag I had the same loading issue.
I took everything apart and retried it, it seemed better the second install but still binded. I hope when I get the receiver back I'll fix the issue. The bolt can move side to side in the receiver when charged. Which I think isn't safe at all!

If everything is fixed, yes it's very fast with a PWS mag release! I'd say just the same as an AR-15. You just don't have a forward assist and bolt release.

I would try a heavier recoil spring, before I sent my stuff away.

If you look at the ch22 receiver, it comes with a different recoil spring setup since there is no side charging handle. I could file the rod and try a different spring but I don't know if the new spring is longer or shorter than the stock one.

ive never had any luck with anything from TI.
from their charging handles to their mag's to their receivers.
at first i thought it was maybe just one item but ive had a wide assortment of their products over the last 4 years and not one has functioned properly.

so i will not buy any further items from them, and when asked i will tell people to try other brands.
which is a shame because they have some really nice looking stuff!
that CH22 sure is a neat idea, just too bad they couldnt pull it off.

If your using the standard bolt then the guide rod is the same length.
The springs I have are all around the same length +/- a coil or 2.
The diameter of the wire makes the -10% or +10% on the springs.

I've had the same experiences with TI. They make pretty paper weights. The mags were crap and no amount of fiddlef**king got them to feed more than a few rds without piling up. The charging handle had to be disassembled and modified to get it to work right. Makes a guy wonder if they even bother to test their products or just toss them on the market to make some quick cash.

I'm hoping to hear from Questar and if anyone else has seen these receivers at other dealers, please let me know.
I really like the charging handle and the colors Tactical Innovations uses are the same as Tactical Solutions. So my TS barrel matches the receiver.
I'll keep everyone posted!
