Went to the Winnipeg cabelas today and Challenger target ammo 12 gauge is on 20% off.

That’s a bit of a drive for me, maybe Calgary has the same sale.
I didn’t think on sale ammo would even be a thing in these tough times!

I saw the ad for them earlier this week but it doesn't list the loading? They don't say in the online sales ad if they are 1oz, 1 1/8oz, high velocity, light loads etc??

It's a chain wide sale at all stores but they are out of stock for ordering online which I would have done if they had them available as they only charge $4 per case of 10 boxes to ship to your door which is a lot cheaper than driving to Edmonton for us to pick some up. A buddy and I were talking about going together and picking up 60 cases but they didn't have that many between both stores so it wasn't worth the cost of fuel to pick up less than that.

No challenger left here, but they did have boxes of 100 winchester for $35 7.5's and 8's

I miss those days as well. But I don’t think Challengers cost me any targets.

Ah ok I kind of wondered. They're 1oz 1290 hdcp loads kick like a mule. I can only imagine what those must feel like?! Fortunately I just bought a Browning Recoilless so that at least would enable me to shoot those...LOL...however I don't think 1oz 1350fps are permitted in registered ATA trap. I'll have to reread the rule book to confirm.

I remember $50 a flat for AA and shot $10 and keg of powder CIL C300 $30 . Got lucky and bought 10 flats of Rem STS at $90 a flat with a $10 flat rebate before the Sh###t hit the fan.

I remember winning a flat of 1 1/8 oz 1250 fps Challengers at a shoot in BC about 20 years ago and man did those things kick! AA 1 1/8 oz 1300fps Super Sports had nothing on those things, I couldn't get rid of them fast enough!
