Challenging Restricted Exam

Because im trying to get these exams done asap. This coming saturday is a RPAL course(full). I called the place and the instructor gave me the option to do the exam only since his class is full.

After this saturday, i couldnt find anyone giving a course or exam for RPAL. The next couple of weeks have plenty of PAL exams tho.... http://www.fqf.qc.ca/cours.php?region=16

ohhhh makes perfect sense now haha, guess I was lucky to have one sat and the other sunday on the same weekend

I'm curious about why the constant reference to "challenging" the PAL or RPAL exams. On first hearing that the young lady at the local gun shop was "challenging" the exam, I assumed that she meant that she was challenging the necessity to actually take the exam and asking for a waiver as I did, but it turns out that she was simply taking the exam.

chal·lenge (chlnj)
n.
1.
a. A call to engage in a contest, fight, or competition: a challenge to a duel.
b. An act or statement of defiance; a call to confrontation: a challenge to the government's authority.
2. A demand for explanation or justification; a calling into question: a challenge to a theory.

Challenging the exam means you write the exam and do the practical exam without taking the associated course.

Hahaha Yeah,

But fortunately, i took a long shot and called a bunch of clubs around my area to see if any people cancelled. I managed to find a PAL course this saturday and a RPAL for the 3rd of july. Not too bad.

So since i found the courses, i decided to jump on them to maximize my chances. Even tho it doesnt look too complicated. Also the fact that the course is only 20$ more than only exam (because of need to buy manual).
