Chamber Flags

You can buy them from DCRA. Last time I bought any they were about $2 each. Buy lots, once you start using them you start leaving them behind, everywhere. They are an excellent rule.

I would like to buy a couple as well but can not fond them listed on DCRA's site.

Some guys at my range take a piece flagging tape and zip tie it to a... well.. zip tie. The zip tie goes in the chamber, leaving the flagging tape out the back. Works well as a cheap alternative.

Stop by any TR or F-Class match and someone is bound to have a bag of them if you are looking for Bolt Rifle type flags. Those AR ones from Tac Pro should work though....never tried one myself.

I was looking for one that will fit in my rimfire, and I know that the AR-15 ones that tac pro is selling will fit 22 cal rifles.

Paul Reibin (Range Sports Unlimited) has them... get a fist full as they are mandatory in all PRA/NRA shoots.

They come ready to fit a .308 bore. I have just whittled mine down to fit 6 and 6.6 bores.

Their uber technical name is an "ECI" : Empty Chamber Indicator.
