Chamber marks on brass

Sure looks like a slight burr at the front of the belt recess. Much easier to tell with the barrel off. Sounds like the rifle may be a bit of a turkey. I take it one should avoid any VG2 on the EE?

Lol, well as the OP knows I went all in on this Vanguard. Having owned numerous vanguards and howa products, including four at this time i was surprised by his predicament, but needed a vanguard magnum action for a build. It seems a previous owner badly, and i do mean badly warped the trigger guard tang near the front action screw. I doubt most folks would notice the damage, but being a longtime howa guy it looked weird, but i still had to dissemble the rifle to find the damage.
The action was unquestionably being warped by this. The front action screw was gouged into the trigger guard material, and was only bearing on about 20% of the mating service. Without taking it apart like i say, i doubt any would find it.
