Chamber Safety Flag prototype (CF2) Angled for M14 (M305, SOCOM)

What's the big deal with the chamber flag?
Ones existing in the market place seem to work just fine. Seems someone is trying to reinvent the wheel... It's round and has rubber around it, we get it LOL
That or it's another case of back door advertising

Please do elaborate on this "back door advertising ". Obviously, you speak from experience, been around since 2006 with over 5,600 post. Obviously, I cannot read your mind.

All I use... Works with my rifles/hand gun.

If you are planning to market this through CGN, you will have to make the necessary arrangements.

As a former CGN business member (retired M14 smith and custom stock maker) I do speak from experience. The experience of watching so many folks come along with potential products hoping to get a bunch of orders by mentioning a product or project in the forums. That is what I refer to when I say "back door advertising" . Seen it over and over again.
But then again, what do I care, CGN has moderators for cracking down and weeding out the spammers ;)

I still make stuff for firearms but I have not once mentioned my current endeavors on any internet forum, ever, and have no plans to.

Thanks for replying.

Now, to address my actions. The videos I have posted whether that of the M14 chamber safety flag or the JW-83/87 (Backpacker) foregrips (posted under the shotgun sections), are designed by me, 3D-printed on my equipment using an ABS filament as prototypes, and eventually I upload the "STL" files on (MakerBot's) Thingiverse, for free to download at anyone's convenience - all open source. Since I thought that this is a firearm's enthusiast forum I thought I would share my creations, in this case the chamber flags.

Secondly, so why not just come out and say it that way in the first place, instead of the two posts. And still say that, "But then again, what do I care, CGN has moderators for cracking down and weeding out the spammers". So you do care, otherwise you would not have commented on my post the way you did.

In the end, I guess you know what happens when people 'assume' things. But then again it is a lot easier to assume then to actually have a conversation with someone and find out something about them.

Although I am not here to simply seek positive reinforcement, I do welcome constructive criticism or questions. What is not constructive criticism (or inquiring questioning) are just baseless assumption, or simply silly commentary along the lines of: "All I use is...". That would be like me going to the M14.ca's sponsor's forum, and commenting on one of his threads: "All I use is.../picture of a wood/synthetic stock/ Works for me".

"And I like apples."

I saw another thread here yesterday? Maybe day before about the chamber flag... It's gone and now this one...

So yes, I did assume.
And yes, when ya get right down to it, I'm an azzhole ;) like it or leave it.
Now that you've said it is an item guys with 3D printers can download and print for free... That changes my assumptions.

Yes, that would be this thread: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...05-SOCOM)-Chamber-Safety-Flag-prototype-(CF1).

As for how you label yourself is your business, I am sure others can make conclusions on their own.

Well it works with any of my firearms and stays in my range bag. Why re invent the wheel. 1 flag, many uses.
