Change in focal length on high power scopes

Do the higher end scopes in say 6x24 etc suffer as much or at all from the change in focal length as you dial the power up.I have a Falcon,and a Sightron and they sure do.The falcon is worst then the sightron.I know you get what you pay for,but it would be nice to know,before putting a lot of cash down.Because it seems to find one to actually look through would require at least 2 days travel from here

Are you talking about the eye relief changing with magnification? If so, Leupold is one of the worst offenders in this regard. On the other hand my Zeiss Diavari 6-24x56 has an almost constant eye relief, as do my 4.5-14 Conquests.
