Changes / Upgrades made to S&W M&P15 Sport II

Only changes I've done is install handguard set with heatshields and a mil-spec (Colt) fire control group (hammer, trigger, disconnect, springs, pins). Also added a tri-ad rail I had.

Could do more (stock and optic), but for now only made changes I thought would bring it more up to snuff without breaking the bank.
What changes have you done?
 
on mine i will just add a redfield tac moa 3-9x40 rings and that will be it ... when something will need to be fixed i ll come over here to get some suggestions.
 
Took the rear MBUS off and replaced it with a carry handle I had from my Windham.

Going to swap the handguards for ones I have with heat shields, get some USGI mags, and put a 3 point sling on it. That's it.

Just out of curiosity, made made you go back to a carry handle sight as apposed to sticking with the Magpul BUIS?

Just because of what I planning on doing with the rifle. I have an MBUS on my Windham and I plan on putting red dot on that and competing with it. The Sport 2 I just want to leave as a slightly tacticool but pretty much stock M4 style gun. The MBUS is a good backup sight but not as good as a carry handle as a primary sight.
 
I bought 2, and one I put a Magpul stock and handguard on it, and topped it with a Vortex Sparc red dot. It's sort of a "no nonsense, all business" style set up. it's on the left. Not sure what I am going to do with the other.

Mine is at the post office waiting to be picked up tomorrow. I've got no immediate plans to do anything other than run ammo through it. I want to get a good feel for it before I consider modifications.
 
I couldn't leave mine alone. Added a 15" free floating handguard, pop up front site, magpul butt stock, bushnell red dot and new grip. I like it much better now, especially with 5 more mags and 1500 rds!
