Changing Barrels For Glocks 22

Hi all,

I have a Glock G22 and wanted to know if it is possible to put a G17 barrel for 9mm rounds instead of buying an entire G17 which is identicle to the G22. Is it possible ? are there any problems with that or does it need any special adjustments. You help would be most appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays to all.

No problem. Do it all the time. Just use 9mm mags and good to go. Doesnt work as well using a g17 with g22 barrel due ejector size.

When ordering a barrel do i have to take into consideration 2 port or 4 port? what's the diference anyway and what should i be specifying? Thanks

Depends how many holes you want on the end. If I were you I would just get a factory length barrel since they are longer than the legal minimum. The 9mm will have less kick than the .40 anyway.
