Changing deer wmu in Ontario before draw date

Unfortunately we will not be moose hunting in an area we thought we would and have all put in for deer tags in the same wmu.

Anyone know if your WMU choice can be changed before the draw date? Or is it all buck tags this year?

Call the MNR. They won't be there until Tuesday though.

I would say no, but it wont hurt to call thrm.

Two years ago I called the MNR to switch WMUs for the controlled hunt and was told they would try to switch it, but no guarantees. I ended up successfully getting a tag for the new WMU. I think I called in late September/early October, but I'm guessing the earlier you call the better.
