it is a dovetailed sight. in an attampt to put a lower sight I kept banging on it with a brass punch and it did not move at all.
I had better luck with the rear sight.
Go to a gunsmith. Some of those Beretta sights are almost immovable. I took mine to a smith and it started to bend his sight tool before it would finally move.
Beretta front sights are staked in. You would probably need an MGW sight pusher tool to move it. Filing down the existing and using some cold blue is probably the quickest, if not the neatest solution.
which way are you driving it? left to right or right to left. Right to left is the proper way. A sight tool is a better choice though, the front sights are a #####.
