Changing Lee Pro 1000 case slider with caliber?..

I had two Lee Pro 1000s set up for .45 and changed one to 9mm. I ordered the smaller case feeder, shell plate, etc. I already had the small primer feeder. Does anyone know if I need to order a different case slider? I still have the one that was used for .45.

yes you do- the one i have for 9mm has a special "step" just at the part that contacts the casing- as the next case rides on the slider until it drops down, the heighth of the slider is regulated by the length of the round you want to use-you also need the special small case adaptor for the cylinder and plate assy- when you get it, you have to take your cylinder and plate assembly apart and put it in the drop tube or just turn the works upside down and press it in- this centers the case in the drop tube and also on the slider
tr2499b-9MM LUGER is the part number for the slider- as for the bushing, i just e-mailed the factory -info@leeprecision.com and told them what i was doing and they sent the one i needed- which you also need for 223- you can use your cylinder plate and tubes from the 45 , just have to add the bushing and change the slider

as far as i can tell, there are only 2- the one for my 44 mag is IDENTICAL to the 45acp

As far as I can tell from the Lee site , catalogs etc they only have a small case feeder and a large case feeder. The break is at 9mm and .38.

.40cal uses the large feeder tube assembly with the small slider.
