changing my 590's LOP

I have a 590 special purpose without the speedfeed stock. The LOP is way too long for me, I have trouble bringing it up to my shoulder quickly and it just doesnt feel right, I understand this is a common problem with mossbergs. What do you all reccomend for a shorter buttstock? I am not really interested in pistol grip stocks. I see speedfeed has a 13inch LOP stock set, and hogue has an even shorter one at 12 inches. Does anyone know how long the standard hogue buttstock is?

You can get a Speedfeed IV-s with a SWAT plate for a 12'' LOP.

Im 5'11" so I dont feel a 2.5 inch change is necessary. The 13 inch speed feed sounds good. Does anyone know how long the standard hogue buttstock is?
