Changing my savage 10 fcp se bolt handle

Hi guys

Can anybody tell me if I can remove my tactical bolt handle from my savage 10 fcp sr qnd replace it with the rounded handle of a savage 10 FP?

If you are referring to the complete bolt handle, you should be able to just unscrew it with an Allen wrench and it should just slip off. Some were put on fairly tight though.

very very tight. Insert allen key into bolt rear, correctly aligned, lefty loosey, righty tighty. Place onto towel on floor. Gently step on it to "break" the seal, then just undo by hand.

Is there anywhere in Canada I can order a replacement handle?

I did 2 already and both of them were pretty easy to spin the bolt off.

Its a 1/4 allen wrench

This is the the best way to unscrew and screw back the bolt handle. When unscrewing, have the bolt and allen approx 160 degree then apply pressure to open it up.
