You heard right. Anyday that less then 10 a shot is a waste of time. On a good day 10 will be shot in 2-3 minutes easy.

When I was seventeen, I shot 22 g-hogs in a single pasture one afternoon near Arnprior, Ontario (30+ years ago), using a Mossberg semi .22 with a cheap Bushnell rimfire scope..... we use to play a game with the kids when we travelled, to see who could spot the most g-hogs... the numbers were always in the dozens... each! Now we are lucky to see in the single digits... combined! For sure the numbers are way down.

Agreed Kane519. If you're in the London ON region, you probably see groundhogs on a day-to-day basis. I have to drive 2 hours! As for these western Canadians...I'd say "they don't know how good they have it"...but it would seem they DO know.
