Hi !
Wondering if anybody can recommend a way to improve the sites.
been looking but nothing on upgrading them that I have found.
I put some red paint dots on their but did not show up. Fluorescent Nail Polish ??

Thanks!

I paint the front sight on many pistols with red or orange flourescent paint.

There is a trick to making the paint pop.

You must first paid the front site white.

After is is good and dry, paint the fluorescent. The white undercoat makes it work.

Without the white it is a dark muddy colour.

I bought a Krylon paint pen in white and red. Works well.

The white under coat is the way to go, than anycolor will stand out , I kind of like hot pink
I have a Jericho that the front sight is terrible, one of these days I am going to see id I can drill a 1 or 1.5 mm hole length ways at the top and install sone red or green fiberoptic rod I have in it , Have to see id I have a drill bit that size and rig it up in the drill press.
another thing, if it is round/ sloped, file a sq. notch on the back side like a target sight, flat black or what ever, or cold blue where you filed.
combat sights are a problem for me.

I have some white prime spray, will use that and then find something for the dots. Hot pink is good, ive used in the past for marking but not sights.
Thanks!

I have a red paint pen for my truck, used that as well.
I found different color felt markers at staples I think it was , They work over white paint, I also have used correction white paint tape (typing stuff) , easy to take off, and then red over that, or the felt pen, A hot pink pilot spot liter fluorescent hi lighter works O.K.
