Changing the stock on my 700.

I just tried to put my SPS V into a Remington factory HS stock from a Sendero. The safety side of the trigger binds up and won't allow it to go in straight. Dremel time or sell and find another one?

I changed an SPS tactical from the Hogue to an HS Precision off a 700p. Same problem. A few strokes with a file on the aluminum bedding block in the stock and all is well.

Great. I didn't want to start messing until I new it would fit.

Yes many after market stocks require minor filling or grinding to fit in this area. Go slow and keep trying until there is not interference. Phil.

Broke out the Dremel tonight and it fits perfect now. Have to see how it shoots tomorrow.
