Charged HST Now?

I knew it wouldn't last, but what I don't understand is why it was possible for CanAm to do it before? What changed?

Ontario went with HST tax last year....nothing to do with CanAmmo.

Someone explain why Cabella's charges PST to ship items to B.C. "Company policy" was the answer I received. I will never order from Cabella's again. Sorry, but the question was answered for the OP so time to rant.

They are likely registered in BC to collect it. They may have a store here.

Ontario has had HST since 2010. And Wanstalls, also in BC, has charged me HST as far back as 2012. So I still don't understand.

Good chance that CRA told them they weren't doing it right Lots of companies don't understand the GST/HST rules and make mistakes.
