I just recently bought one of these and WOW, I am in love! Was doing some loading last night for my .378 and took no time to drop that 100+ grs of powder per case :D
I would highly recommend this to anyone. It has put the joy back into powder weighing and dispensing. I hate balance beam scales with a passion and it was actually putting me off reloading.

I want to know how it works with smaller loads, like .222 & .223. Regular errors of more than 1/10 grain or so would put me off. How about ball powder versus cylindrical?

I have heard that it is much better than the Lyman.

Thanks,
Eric

Yeah, just takes the tediousness out of reloading. Those damn balance beam scales where driving me up the wall. I was almost to the point of going back to Lee dippers :)

Jeez guys, I'm broke enough. Are you trying to get me in trouble with the wife?? :( ;)

I just got my new chrony and tripod this week (dang boonerbuck moved north on me with his!) and I don't think it would be a good time to make another purchase. I guess I'll have to put it on the list for down the road - two weeks should be long enough right?? :p

That weighing and trickling does take a lot of the fun out of reloading alright, I'll have to get one of these soon. Where are you buying them from at a decent price?

PM sent in order to not get in trouble ;)

I used Prosper's once, and was instantly in love. It's on my Xmas wish list this year.

The only good thing for me about the beam scale/trickler/dippers is they keep the g/f out of my hair for a few hours. And the method I use is fairly quick, to me, at least. I use the dipper listed for starting charges according to the Lee manual, and then trickle up to my target charge weight.

It works great, I even use mine for loading 45ACP with 5.5gr's of Universal.
