Chargemaster, Hornady, Or Smartloader???

Read a little deeper in the manual and you set it up for auto dispensing. Cool feature!!
Set the pan down, it returns to zero and dispeneses the next load. I like that.

Ya the hornady does the same thing. I was going to go with the rcbs when i bought one but I like to buy local if i can.

So do I, and I usually do. The problem is, we're talking $279 vs. $500+ for the same thing. My local guys will have to do a little better on their end before I ignore that kind of a price gap.

Im with ya there but thats why i tried the hornady instead of the RCBS. i only paid 300 for it compaired to 550 for the rcbs. Not saying the rcbs is better or worse, just bought what they had.

I really hate ordering things, but gotta say it's rediculous that the chargemaster is so much in canada, when it's not even a restricted item. Just ordered it thru Natchez also, 279.99. Midsouth shooters is another one in the states, offering rcbs chargemaster for 309.99.

ShaunM let us know what total bill is when delivered to your door, if you don`t mind. I`ve been looking for a new scale and weighing the options, prefere to buy local but don`t like the bend over effect. I see Cabela`s has the chargemaster combo for 399.99 in the spring catalog.

I'm sure he'll answer himself but FYI based on my frequent experience, if he specifies USPS land, it'll arrive faster than by UPS and shipping will be about $30.00. That plus GST will be about it. Go UPS it'll be slow and expensive !!

I specifically specified USPS to the guy at Natchez and had a little discussion on how badly UPS chews us over on brokerage fees. He told me he knew all about it. How have you guys been ordering from them ? The 1800 number doesn't work from Edmonton, and the website wouldn't let me put in Alberta for a state, or a postal code for a zip code. I finally called in on the direct line and they took my order that way......although they were supposed to send me an email with the cost of shipping...which I still haven't got.

I've ordered from Natchez a few times, though I have always had my order delivered inside the US, and I have always had great service.

IIRC, international orders must be called in, and I believe there is an additional $10 fee.

Last year I picked up an Ameristep hunting tent for $40, here they sell for $100. I also like to buy here and support our Canadian retailers, but enough is enough for me, our dollar has be on par or better for a few years now, and I have not seen many prices budge, and yet, the minute our dollar will loose ground, all the retailers will raise their prices and blame it on our low dollar.

You have to phone the order desk direct 423-899-0499 and give your order to them (like you did). They in turn pass it on to the lady (forget her name but she's GOOD) who arranges international shipping - she will not send it UPS unless you specifically request it as she knows the deal with BS brokerage fees. The order desk always says she will either call or email with the freight charges but she never does - she takes care of the paper work and fires it off in the mail (USPS). At least this is how it has with all my orders from Natchez. My orders have always arrived well packaged with all the applicable paper work - makes for fast Customs turn over.

Thanks for the info Chinch. Now I won't worry about the missing email.

Just got a Hornady Auto charge on the weekend and it is awesome. Only loaded 150 rounds so far but neither my daughter or myself had any issues other than with H4831 it seemed to want to over charge alot. I put a pack of cci primers onder the front(skinny pack,3/16 of an inch or so) and it worked flawlessly after that. Weird, i was useing IMR4350 before that and not one went over? They're 150$ cheaper than the RCBS.
