Charger Barrel on a 10/22

I used to get charger bbl off of US Ebay sellers, shipped to NY and then self imported in Canada. As 357 stated, Dlask may have what you are looking for.

Yeah, don’t do that. Undocumented export of anything gun related out of the USA is an extremely bad idea. Find a legal source and pursue that.

Yes it's legal as long as the overall gun lengthis greater than 26" .

Finding a used one won't be easy.

Purchase a Dlask 8" add a compensator or muzzle brake to reach 10" or shoot the 8" as is.

Overall length only matters if the gun can fold, collapse, etc. and even then it would only make the gun restricted which is still legal to own if you've got the right permissions on your license.

Examples of guns under 26" that are NR include the Mares Legs and the Keltec KSG Tactical. Putting a new barrel on *shouldn't* make it restricted, but that doesn't mean the cops won't hassle you or even charge you and confiscate it, leading to a costly fight to get your stuff back. Personally I wouldn't go shorter than 26" because I can't afford such a fight and its not worth the potential hassle to me, but YMMV.

As for the OP, chances of finding an actual Ruger Charger barrel are very low, but there are multiple sources of aftermarket 10/22 barrels out there. Dlask would be the first I looked into, but if you use google you should be able to find others.
