Charger optics

I have got a Charger, but no optics as yet.

Mostly plinking, so was obviously thinking Red Dot.

What do you guys recommend? Ideally I'd like to spend around $150.

Also - can anyone let me know what ammo they have found does / doesn't work? I would like to grab some bulk, so would rather get it right!

I put a Bushnell red dot on mine.
I like the little cirlce mode the best.
I haven't shot mine all that much (<200 rounds), but haven't found a brand of ammo it couldn't eat.

I bought a Vortex red/green dot and have it mounted on my 10/22.Seems to be a realy good red dot.Price is around 170.00.

I put a red dot on mine, but took it off after awhile because I found it REALLY hard to see in bright daylight.

Thanks Grizz...but I just put open/fiber optic sites on it and enjoy it much more now.
