Are all bow hunters this crazy? I bet he tinkled a bit!

I shot my 47 inch Bull @ 6 yards this year.
I have had 5 Moose in last 6 hunting seasons at less than 15 yards...getting 2 out of the 6. The first bow kill was at 8 yards(40inch bull). ALL while hunting on the ground.
Never once have I been charged. In my experience, when the Moose sees you move it usually becomes quite scared.
I have seen this video before and know it is quite possible for a Moose to charge you but they haven't scared me yet. It is a very daunting experience to call in a rutted up Bull...but that is what makes it FUN!
I will tell you what DOES scare me....
4 years ago I was calling in the rut in Archery.(hunting alone, 45 minutes from camp by quad and 2 hours from Town in middle of nowhere)
On the morning hunt I heard a distant call back...but Bull never came in.
That evening I went out and cut his track where he crossed the trail coming torwards morning call sight. Approx. 1/2 mile away. I set up in a little 100 yard opening with a quad trail going through it. Sure enough after a few Cow calls I could hear him back in the bush about 300 yards away. I thought I would have a slam dunk.
BUT...It took me another 2 hours of calling before he finally came in. He came in with about 10 minutes of legal light left(which is 20 minutes after sunset). As he was coming in I had to move from my position to try and get a shot. As I was crossing the opening when he came out of the bush and was running straight towards me @ 20 yards. I froze. Drew my bow. As I drew he wheeled away 90 degrees and STOPPED @ 15 yards. I almost released but he moved at last second. He went about 20 yards and put some small trees between me and him. All the time he is watching me. I moved to get a better shot and he took off in the bush.
I waited the last 5 minutes to let things quiet down and just as I started back to my Quad which was just down the trail about 75 yards South of the opening. It was getting pretty dark and 3 Timberwolves howled from 3 different sides of the clearing.

They had moved in and surrounded the opening on 3 sides. The only thing I could do was b-line it for the quad...so I ran and luckily got it started and revved the pi** out of it. I quickly got my bow put away and got the heck out of dodge.
It has never happened to me since then but I was VERY scared when that happened.
I am always cautious now when I bow hunt and try to avoid areas with Timberwolf sign.
