Hi,
I was browsing Charles Daly's website and stumbled across the model 520 (SxS) in 20ga. Nice looking and very light (5.6lbs) gun. Not a whole lot of reviews on it on the web. Anyone ever handled, shot or owned one? What were your impressions? If I get one...I would probably have to buy online without handling it first, so I'd welcome comments.

Cheers!

David

It really is. I’ve used mine as my primary upland and pigeon gun for the last three years. It carries really well and it swings like a wand. I also use it to shoot skeet and have likely put close to a few thousand rounds through it and I have not had a single issue with it since I owned it. I bought it used so I don't know exactly how many rounds are through it, but I’m pretty sure it hasn't been a safe queen considering it was turned in for destruction somewhere in Europe/Scandinavia

Oh wow, awesome review! I didn't know they were the same gun. That's fun to know.

Still torn between keeping my Stevens 555 or getting myself a lightweight SxS.

I like how clean the receiver looks. Is it made of a steel alloy? It reminds me of the TR Import lightweight shotgun (which is an O/U).
