Hello I have a charles daly over under 12 gauge superior grade and was thinking of selling it but don't know what to ask. I believe it was made in the early to mid 70's just before the miroku plant switched over to building citoris. It really looks like a citori but is supposed to be better in the way it has leaf springs instead of coil springs, just something I read. Any help in a value would be greatly appreciated. If pictures are required I may be able to talk my wife into putting some on here as I don't know how.

Condition, barrel lengths, chambers, chokes etc??

Pictures are definitely a must. Seems to me a similar Miroku sold on the EE not that long ago for 800.00 or so. A nice shotgun. I have the single barrel version of the BT99. A BT99 in appearance but with leaf springs instead of coils.

12 gauge 2 3/4 with 32" barrels. It has selexer or whatever the little switches are on the reciever to switch from extractor to ejector. A dime won't go into the top barrel and only half way in the bottom barrel. The barrel rib is wide with a mid bead. It has some blueing wear from numerous rounds of trap.I bought it from an older fellow that bought it used in the late 70's early 80's in the staes at a trap shoot. He used to travel all over the states and canada to shoot trap. He used it for a few years along with his other shotguns and put it away in the mid 80's never to be looked at again.

Well - Sounds like its seen some mileage. My Miroku superior skeet gun doesn't have the selexor (sp?) switch, that must have been a special feature for the Charles Daly contract. I think if you got 800$, you should consider yourself lucky.

I've purchased and sold Miroku's and Charles Daly variations for $650 -$1000 depending on gauge, condition, chokes etc... They are a solid gun with good fit/finish.
