Charleville Question

Hello

I have a Charleville (copy)? that is LEG Belgian marked.
Any information would be appreciated. Are these copies made for Belgian use or were the contracted out by the French?

I have one of the same.

I was told they where contracted out to a French factory in Liege, Belgium, 1840ish.

They where the last model made at the end of an era.

The Belgian made Charleville is top quality.

In recent years I have seen a good number of these up sale.
