Charlize Theron's SKS in "Mad Max, Fury Road"

Saw this movie last night. not bad. I could have tolerated a little less car chase and some more dialogue. How many times did Max speak? haha
The Glock 17 close ups were funny to me. Great product placement by Glock.

And what about that one-handed mag dump ??

Is that realistic ??

BTW, Max does not speak much in the first movie either. :)

Quick question... were you alive when the first one was released ??

In 1984 I did an energy independence study of Canada based on the Mad Max model for my university political science class !! It was a hoot !!

Really? There's dialog?!

Maybe I'll have to reconsider seeing it.....

So, going a bit more off topic, what did your energy survey determine?

I agree this movie had a great story to tell and did not for the sake for action sequences. I left feeling like all I really saw was the first action scene at that was it.

Well, it WAS 30 years ago... but if I remember correctly, I talked about using wind, solar and the oil that occurs naturally in the Maritimes, MB, SK and AB.

The funniest thing I remember though is my prof's expression when I referred to the Mad max model... priceless.

I'll go see it .....I've watched all of the others and liked Tom Hardy so much in his last film that I want to check this one out .

Better pass on 95% of movies made as the vast majority of actors/producers/directors are liberal tree hugger anti's.

Why does every discussion on movies or tv shows have to end up to this debate? Don't like it, don't watch Mad Max but eat up Taken 4 when it comes out :p (yes, he's an anti too, just like 95% of the industry).

I use to like GTA 5. But then I found out that the voice actor for Micheal was that ass face that did the fake gun shop. I have since stopped playing the game as the image for Micheal being a badass was no longer there.
