I own the Taurus 608 .357. Looks great. Feels great. Balance is awesome. Sights are perfect. Factory loads in .357 barely make the gun flinch (muzzle is ported). Very easy to shoot. I like the feel of the action, start to finish (giggity).
When it shoots, that is.
I have the "cylinder lock-up" issue with one of the 8 chambers. Taurus' advice is to shoot ### number of rounds through it before addressing the issue. I suspect I will be addressing the issue. I will likely be taking it to a gunsmith in the near future to correct this. That's the only thing that really, really p****s me off. Otherwise, I would be very happy with it - a gun you can't rely on to go bang every time you pull the trigger is nothing more than a paperweight, IMHO, because you wouldn't want to trust it if you ever needed it in an emergency.
