CHAS 3 Gun 2018

Adriel, can you clarify the '2 day' vs '3 day' for the 2 day match? Practiscore reg lists two Saturday and Sunday, but post#1 here lists 3 days.
"Battle of Alberta 2 Day Match Jun 15 - 17 (Charity Match)"

Friday setup and RO match. Regular competitors are Sat+Sun.

It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce that at the Battle of Alberta Charity 3-gun Championship 2018 hosted by CHAS 3-Gun we officially raised $10,388.50 for The Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation!!!The event went off better than any of us could have imagined! I would like to thank the great competitors and especially a great group of volunteers for putting in many hours of work to organize, design and run the match.
We are all excited for next year!
I would also Like to thank The Canadian Historical Arms Society (C.H.A.S) for matching our match fees making it possible to get to this amount!
Also thank you to all of the sponsors that donated to the event and made for a great prize table and charity raffle!

CHAS 2 Gun Historical Match - Aug12

What is it?
A 2 Gun match held August 12th at CHAS (Canadian Historical Arms Society 45 minutes West of Edmonton.) The match is designed to be a beginner friendly intro to multi gun competition and a fun way to get out and compete with our SKS's, Garands, and 1911's. There will be 4 stages of relaxed pace shooting with a simplified ruleset.

What do I need to compete?
A pistol and rifle. While we encourage participants to bring out their historical firearms and compete with those, we do have a "modern firearm" division that doesn't take into account how old your firearms are, so anyone can compete.

Interested? Register for the match on Practiscore and join the 2 Gun Historical Shoot Facebook page.

I didnt get to stick around for the 2 gun match, but having been to 3 of your one day 3 gun matches now, I have to say your matches keep getting better and better. Kudos and thanks to all who help make it happen, you guys are doing a great job.

Yeah, the guys are getting really creative with stage designs. Thanks for coming out and your words of support!

Yeah, the stage designs are great, but the matches are running better every time to, the matches are still full, but we are getting off the range at a decent hour. Its a great match that just improves every month. You guys are not afraid to experiment and learn, which is fantastic.

Just signed up for my first match and recieved my confirmation email. How do I pay? The link in the email sends me to a page that says "We do NOT accept payments online at this time, please see your confirmation email on how to pay or make arrangements with the match director."

About getting off the range at a decent hour. . .we didn't really do that for September's match

No. Was a long day. But some great stages!I mean, who doesn’t like a 100m course that tests your ability to simply carry enough ammo to get through the course! Signed up and ready for October!

Sorry to bother everyone but as I am new, with my first match this weekend, where do I find the match info? Like round counts and whatnot. I do not have facebook.

I am no expert but I will try to help.
There is some info here (I don't have facebook either):
http://historical-arms.com/chas-3-gun-league/

For shotgun I would bring 6 boxes (150) or more. It is the only thing I have ever come close to running out of.
I always bring 100 rifle and 200 pistol and that has always been lots.
5 shotgun slugs too

Show up at 8:00 to help set up.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong but I think that is about it.

Lots of good guys there, someone will help out if you are short something.
