Glad to see the login info I sent you fellas worked! After months of fighting with the web service, it is nice to see the website back up and running.

You guys did a great job with the new look. I really like it!

Sweet! Can't wait to get out this year! There should be a prize for most rounds fired during a stage... I'd win for sure! BRB buying more mags.

Our MGM order arrived today.
We have a bunch more poppers to add to our collection. We also picked up some pigeon flippers to add some excitment to the shotgun stages. My favorite target so far in the order though is the Flash Target, which we will be using at our longer shooting distances (300m and out). This target has a 20'' AR500 steel target which when hit will pivot back and forth to reveal a bright orange flash card. This is very easy to see for even the shooter, if you hit the target you see orange, if you don't see orange you did not hit, its that simple. Best of all its calibrated for the .223/5.56mm guns that everyone is running.

Oh, we can't forget of course the second MGM whirly gig that also arrived.

This is going to be a good season. Hope to see you all out to take advantage of the new steel.

Our orientation and first skills and drills is this upcoming Saturday, 7 March. We will start at 1300hrs on the 200/300m range.
We will have examples of all our targets set up so that you can get some practice in on shooting them. This will include the whirly gig, swinger, poppers, as well as a bunch of our steel.

If you bring out 180 rifle, 150 pistol, 60 birdshot and 10 slug you will be set and will likely leave with some left over.
Unless you want to shoot it all of course.
No steel shot and no steel core though.

Would this be a good event to bring a newbie too? I'd like to bring my girlfriend to give her a chance to try it out.

Newbie +2 looking to show up and learn here. We haven't bought much pistol/shotgun gear yet, so is it possible to run only partial drills, or to arrange to borrow some stuff?

Start time is set for 1pm Saturday. We will be starting to set everything up at 1130am and assistance is always greatly appreciated.
We don't have a huge amount to set up this time though.
Everyone is welcome, especially people new to the sport. Bring what you have, you can either borrow some stuff or run partial drills, we are going to be very flexible in that regard tomorrow.
If you do plan on borrowing, there are lots of people who will generally let you try out their stuff. Its always appreciated if you bring your own ammo, although thats not a requirement. If you do want to bring some ammo to use with borrowed guns, bring factory 9mm, factory .223 and factory 12g 2 3/4 #7 1/2 and you will be set.
