CHAS 3-Gun match scheduled for May 18th (this Sunday)

Setup is at 08:00
We have scheduled a longer setup this time due to this match being a full shoot house setup!

First rounds down range at 11:00am (we have a new earlier start time on Sundays under our new county permit!!)

This will be our first match with our BRAND NEW barricade walls, steel poppers, IDPA targets, a Vata-Dropping Man, and best of all an MGM Whirly-GIG. We will be setting up a 3 tier shoot house and running all three firearms staged throughout the house.

Bring LOTS of ammo, we will try to get everyone through the house at least 3 times.

Round Count:
Pistol 150
Rifle 200
Shotgun 50
Slug 10

See you all out there!!

Hi Guys, I am a member of CHAS and am interested in coming out this sunday. I only have an AR, sling, and chest rig setup and 5.56 ammo. Can I come out and just complete the rifle portions? I don't mind skipping the pistol and shotgun portions. I would bring ammo and ask to borrow, but I have limited experience on pistols and shotguns and would prefer to just do the rifle. Let me know if that's OK. Thanks!!

Im sure we can work something out. The stage will be set up something like starting pistol, run it dry, holster, pick up the AR, dump it and run shotgun. The shotgun will be staged and Im dont mind lending you mine. You can just run the pistol portion with the AR. The shotgun has to be shotgun cause the steel targets get ruined that close with .223. We can figure something out though. Come out, you will have fun. Come out early and help set up though!! That way you wont feel guilty boring guns and ammo ;)

I'll be short a shotgun, but if someone is willing to let me use their semi-auto (just because semi auto is softer shooting, and my shoulder isn't quite 100% from a car wreck a month ago) I would be eternally grateful. I have a mess of shotshells, so feeding is no issue.

And if you want kgb, you can use my CZ75B. Just bring 9mm.

Ok so I managed to weasel a 9mm walther and a holster + 2 mags. Gonna come out as early as possible tomorrow but will likely arrive around 930, hopefully that's early enought to help set up.

Hey all, just want to say thanks to the organizers, had a lot of fun. Sorry I couldn't stay to help break down. Special thanks to josh for loaning me his shotty and shells and tv press pass for loading. I have a box of 5.56 for each of you for next time out.

Yeah that was a hell of a stage! I'm replaying tape right now going "really? there four silhouettes there too?"

I have to watch the footage later. I left my range bag in the truck. Too tired and sore to haul everything up stairs. Don't forget... I want your footage!

Ditto...

Noone else had cameras running? :(

Just need a few more parts...

I had my Drift running during my run (or should I say waddle?) I'll be happy to share it, but I want your footage too!
