See you out there!!

I'll try and make it out... although.... I'm not sure I could even hit a bus at 200 or 300m with my irons or red dot...

I'm not too sure what Long and Bill have in store for us this match, but from what I hear red dots and irons will still be able to run the CoF. It will be challenging, but doable. Obvioulsy magnification will be a big help, but I will be running my red dot.

Is this members only or can anyone come out and play? Not having a range to shoot at is killing my Summer fun.

You dont have to be a CHAS member to shoot these matches, you will need to be a CHAS 3-Gun member to shoot our matches though. Our membership fee is $50 but that will include your first match fee. Match fees are generally $10 and if you are not a CHAS member, the usual guest fee for range insurance applies. We do not collect that, it is expected that you put that in the range box and just sign in as a 3-gun guest. Guest fee is $20. We still have a minimum of 4 shoots/skill & drills planned for the season.

With our range closure, I haven't had a chance to get out and check my zero on my AR. I found that mine was not working out too well for me on the long shots last time.

Hopefully I can get it dialed in before the 23rd

I'm sure you can hit a bus. Even a short bus. If you're interested I have a 1-4 Trijicon Accupoint with the green triangle that you can borrow. I've used it out to 400m with great success. I'm near Edson.

That might be a tall order there big fella! Maybe Long can comment on the roof as he was the carpenter on that one. He is in the Army.......so probably not:HR:

yeesh..... too many unknown variables there then.... NOT COOL.

Why are they so early in the morning... I'm not a morning person...

Welcome to the club. I have a hard enough time waking up in the morning during the week... weekends are meant to sleep in. :p

To keep the non-morning people out... ahahaha

That's a little prejudicial and bigoted to us night owls. :p

Not there for range/safety brief...no bang bang!

Not there for set up, we will remember:rey2

I always seem to miss set up, but make the brief (barely) and always stay for tear down when other guys split after they shoot because "Oh, I have something else going on... blah blah blah." These days, my only lame-ass excuse is I need my beauty sleep. And I'm so damned ugly that it means I need a LOT of sleep!
