Our match schedule for 2017 is as follows:

March 11
April 8
May 13
June 10
July 8
August 12
September 9
October 14
November 4

These matches are held at the CHAS range at Genesee.

We've got some exciting new stuff for 2017. Thanks to CHAS, we were able to purchase some awesome new targets and build some new obstacles such as:


Pistol/Shotgun spinners
Lots of knock down targets
Dueling Trees
A breaching door (thanks to Mike!)
and more


We'll see you out there!

Hello,

Do I need to be a member, or a guest of a member to enter a match?
 
You do need to be a CHAS member or be a guest of a CHAS member to shoot.
That said its a friendly helpful group that puts on the matches, if you need someone to host you as a guest I am sure someone would be willing.

Ok thanks, trying to get into 3 gun and hopefully some matches this year.
 
Hello,

Any one willing to take me on as guest for a match or two? More than likely i would end up getting a membership. Thank you to the gracious fellow CGNer for the offer.

I am very interested in participating in the July 8th and Oct 14th matches. I would need someone to sponsor me in order to attend.

I can not justify a 3rd range membership at a range with multiple ranges shut down. Once those ranges are opened, I will be purchasing a range membership and cancelling my membership at the Sherwood Park Fish and Game range.

If anyone is willing to sponsor me for those matches, I would be eternally grateful and may even be convinced to treat said person so a bite and a beverage afterwords.

If you come to the range on the day of the match (at 8am) there will be multiple members that will be willing to sign you in. If the gate is closed, don't leave, just try to get someone's attention to let you in and get you signed up. It will be an extra $20 for a non-member, but that still only makes it $40 for the day with your match fee.

This is very much up in the air with how my work schedule is right now but a friend and I may require sponsoring to try out the match AUG 12. Also, would there be any scheduling issues with the two of us only having one set of guns between us? He's between carbines and I'm between shotguns.

When you register just make sure to let us know that you need to be on the same squad, no problems.
