Due to the projected forecast of rain and thunderstorms for the rest of the week, the zombie shoot has been cancelled for this Saturday June 15, 2013. It will be rescheduled for the following Saturday, June 22, 2013.
Its time for the CHAS 5th Annual Zombie Shoot! It will be held on June 15,2013 at the Genesee range. For the zombie shoot its self, firearms & ammo are included in your admission price($20). There is also a 22 caliber shoot for the kids to try out if they don't yet qualify for the Zombie course( just $2). For anyone who wants to try their hand at long range target shooting, there will be sniper targets set out on the long range side ($5). Also there will be a selection of targets on the shotgun range ($5) This is a fun event with a strong family theme. There will be a Range Officer at each course to lead you through it if need be. Members, if your bringing your own, you will need 100 rounds of pistol and 100 rounds of rifle to be "safe" ( this should give you enough for 2 run through). There will be lunch and drinks for a small fee available at noon.
Set up will start at 8 am we would ask for some help with the set up, so if you could find it in yourself to lend a hand that would be great ! Range brief will be at 9:45 and rounds down range by 10. The fee will be $20 for non members and $15 for members of the range. This event is set up and sponsored by the CHAS three gun. Zombie Supply Canada will have a table at this event so you can stock up on anything you need!
We had 36 shooters last year and we would like to see more people come out and enjoy this shoot with the family . A gracious member of three gun donated the use of his duelling tree for the kids 22 shoot , and a couple members have donated the use of their 22's and mags for the kids . The kids get 25 rounds for $2 and free admission so bring them along!!! FYI, there is no interact at the range, it will be a cash only day. The 3 Gun club will be taking pictures and video to post up on our new web site. Hope to see you there.
