Anyone know whether the Long Range is open at Genesee?

Haven't renewed my membership there since it closed. I only used that range because of the ability to shoot at distance. The New Year is coming and looking to find a long range around Edm to spend my yearly dues.

If not I heard that there may be one near Edson???

the range is open to 300m and plans and it looks like maybe farther out later in 2012

Currently Genesee is open to 300M

Unfortunately it takes money to pay for equipment and engineering to reopen the range, people who don't renew their membership just means that it takes longer. Thanks for your help

Not looking to start a debate on the whole Genesee matters, it has already been discussed many times. since I am the OP, I just want to know who's shooting long range (well past 300m) and where to buy that Range Pass around Edmonton or are people using crown land.

There is nothing aside from crown land or invites to shoots on private land. And I second the thanks for the help , weather it has been beat to death or not.
