That is a misprint on the CHAS site then. Sept 6th is a 3-Gun Skills and Drills. The DMR has for all intents and purposes been cancelled for this year. After much discussion, the format has been altered. It was felt that the format "DMR" if kept traditionalist did not allow for enough people to attend as there are not many people within the group who have scoped semi auto platforms. While the last match we called a DMR we left open to bolt guns and ran in a team format was a success, we felt it wasn't a true DMR. This year we have opted to move the match to more of a precision carbine match. My understanding is the match directors have developed a CoF that will push people with the typical equipment we see at a 3-gun match to the limits of the capabilities. It will not be run as a team match, but will focus more on distance and precision. I will try to get a rough round count, equipment, and distance description posted with a thread announcement early this week.
Summary...NO DMR this year.
