Cheap 20 gauge?

What 20 gauge shotgun is available either new or used for around $300 that would be good for chukar, quail, grouse, snowshoe hare and pheasants ?

Could I find a used Remington 1100 or 870 in 20 gauge for that price?

You'd have to really look hard to find an 1100 for that price, but an 870 in 20 ga should be possible. Or an Ithaca 37, or Mossberg 500, Win 1200, Rem 31, NOT a Win 12 $$$. Very few pumpguns are truly worn out.

Excellent choice, by the way. IC choke would be ideal.

A brand new 500 Mossberg in 20Ga from SIR will run you around $300 (including tax and shipping). 26" vent rib with 3 chokes. You can often find old Mossberg and Stevens bolt action 20's for $150 or less.
