Cheap 338 lapua rifles

I ‘dislike’ recoil also so I wonder why I’m on my 3rd .338LM. Guess you need something different to spice up life once in a while and something to shoot yotes and gophers with. The REM Police special was a brute for recoil, sold it with 1,000 pieces of Lapua brass and other accessories for reloading.
Played with a Savage for a while, 2 shots into one hole and always tossed the 3rd, no matter what I put through it. No pride of ownership either so I dumped it. If you can’t make 3 bullets touch at 100 yards it’s not worthy of taking up room in your gun safe.

So….it was all going to be different with the new Sako TRG42 that I fell in love with. And after 5 shots I was on the phone
 
^^^^continued…. on the phone and ordered a Grizzly muzzle brake. What a difference in recoil reduction. This rifle shoots 250g Scenars propelled by Retumbo powder into a mouse’s ear. Everybody should own a 338LM at some point or another in their life. Sort of a ‘rights of passage’.
 
Look for the older Savage 110 Ba with full chassis Had one Beautiful gun heavy big muzzle break not much recoil fun to shoot
Most never fire enough rounds to shoot one out
