badboybeeson, How do you load for $10/100. Am serious and want to know how you can do this......
Heres around what it costs for me to load 9mm.
1000 124 Grain FMJ Bullets from Canadian BDX $ 67.00 (6.70 per 100)
1 Lb Hodgdon Titegroup Powder $19.99 (7000 grains, 4 grains per shell, enough for 1750 rounds) (1.15 cents per round for powder, so $1.15 per 100 rounds)
1000 Federal Small Pistol Primers $26.99 (2.69 per 100 rounds)
Total component cost per $100 rounds is 10.54.
Now, the cost of brass wasnt factored in, but I believe once fired can be had for as low as $15 per 1000.
Also, if you use lead instead of jacketed bullets your cost goes down to $46 per 1000 which will bring your overall cost for 100 rounds down to $8.44.
So you can still load your own ammo for about half the price of factory ammo. Is it worth it, well thats up to you to decide.
