CanAm did a special and AFAIR, some store in Calgary had it at this price. FWIW, CanAm has now ran out of stock, so it's gonna get more expensive to shoot it.Several things, firstly, where are you finding Norc ammo for $250/crate?

if you have a chrome bore and chamber... who cares? go for it....
target barrel... maybe not.But I wouldn't be shooting Norc ammo for precision anyway![]()
Nothing a tap rack won't solve.
Honest to God the way some people on these boards treat their guns, you would think they were collecting and handling Faberge Eggs or porcelain dolls or something!
Several things, firstly, where are you finding Norc ammo for $250/crate? Cheapest I've seen in Canada Ammo. 2nd, that difference is still less than 25cents. Third, you didn't attempt to refute the other issues raised about the horrendous quality and track record of the Norc ammo. Four, don't make assumptions on my shooting habits.
Even at the 10 pack price (10% off) and at the "normal" price, you could have gotten it at 28c a round.Several things, firstly, I won't tell you all my secrets.
Like what other people have said, canada ammo did a special sale and many people stacked up on cheap ammo.
Secondly, I am going off my experience on the Chinese ammo and not someone else.
Third party opinions means very little until you try it urself.
Have you even shot the Chinese ammo before?
Thirdly, let me do the math for you.
1120 Chinese ammo for $240x12% tax=$270.
That equals to 24 cents a round.
1000 rounds of non Chinese ammo for $450x12%=$500.
That is 50 cents a round.
And lastly, I will make assumptions base on the facts that I was given.
Even at the 10 pack price (10% off) and at the "normal" price, you could have gotten it at 28c a round.
