They are not AR-15s but a clone by Norinco of the old AR-15 SP1 for $500 at Lever arms.

Can't say I blame you. I bought an AR15 SP1 for $400 at a pawn shop. I think its going to be hard to find one for cheap. I think you are best off buying something used and desirable, then considering it an investment that you can always get your money back on. At least that's how I justify it.

I don't think you'll get American made for under $1300. Even used the cheapest I've seen for a complete AR was something like $1100.

The CQ311 is well known in CGN. They are mechanically sound and accurate, it is just that the furniture is ghastly and the finish amateur.

Do you want to start a new post asking John at Marstar to bring these in too? It all sounds good, and since John will be bringing a container loaded with the Type 97s you convinced him to order, he might as well get some of these too.
